Education: Dr. Jones attended Auburn University where he earned a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he earned a masters degree in public health. He later attended medical school at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences, Tulsa, Oklahoma, while commissioned in the United States Air Force.

Additional Training: Dr. Jones completed an internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wright State University / Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Areas of special interest include pelvic floor reconstruction and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Jones is a daVinci-trained robotic surgeon, and is actively involved in state-of-the-art research regarding women's health issues.

Personal:  Dr. Jones is an active member of the Alabama Osteopathic Association and Montgomery County Medical Society. He also serves on Alabama's Regional Perinatal Advisory Council and the Alabama Department of Public Health's Fetal Infant Mortality Review (FIMR) Committee. Dr. Jones attends St. James United Methodist Church and enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.
